Inger Johanne established a knitting group at Katonga Hope Center in May 2017. Every year since she collected left over yarn from friends and others in Norway, knitting stiches, knitting machines and sewing machines. Knitting teacher Jemmy Watts was hired to teach knitting on machines. The girls were so eager that they continue to knit while they were walking home. They were known as the Knitting girls!
